Check Guarantee "insures" the face value of the check and protects you against checks written on non-sufficient funds (NSF). You obtain electronic approval or voice authorization for the transaction and then deposit the check. Checks that do not clear can be submitted to Mid Atlantic for reimbursement. Checks that are sent into Mid Atlantic for payment are paid 100% of face value.
